CLUB CAPTAINS GALA NEW DATE SAT 7TH JULY 5.30PM

So sorry to all our excited swimmers that turned up today for our Club Captains gala to find the pool closed. Unfortunately an "accident" had occurred in the pool just minutes before and because of health and safety the pool has to be cleaned and closed for at least 12 hours.

We had an emergency meeting and have decided to reschedule for Sat 7th July 5.30pm. This date was going to be a home gala in memory of Ulo against other teams but felt that we didn't want to let our members down, also the Captains had spent so much time organising what is such a great inclusive gala for all our swimmers. We know Ulo would be in favour of this and more of the club can swim in his memory. 

The original team lists will be on the board, please can you tick your confirmation that you can make this date. We will also put up a reserve list and fill any spaces that become available from this.

Great result for Keynsham at Weymouth. Very tough competition so well done to all our swimmers. 1st places went to Ben Clarke in 10 yrs breast, Nick Bower 9yrs Breast, Sam Lawton in 10yrs Fly and free, Alex Withey 12yrs Breast, Rhiannon Bowen 10yrs free, Emily Concannon 12yrs Back. The team first places were 10yrs girls Medley team of Ellie Jupp, Meg Stratton, Rhiannon and Jess Podger, 10yrs Boys Medley of William Isom, Ben, Sam and Ethan Doble.

Thanks must go to Rosalind who helped on poolside and Mike who also kept the kids entertained while we waited to go into the pool.

JUNIOR LEAGUE, BRISTOL NORTHS AND KIT

Please check your name on the notice board and tick for The Junior League.

The coach is 2.45pm for 3pm leaving from Ashton Way Carpark on Sat 19th May. The address in Weymouth is Knightsdale Rd Tel 01305 774373. If for any reason you are not coming on the coach you must let Lynne know. Please bring club hats and T shirts, food and drink for after the gala. Good Luck Team.

If you have ordered new kit please pick it up at the pool 2pm -2.30pm before you get on the coach.

CLUB CAPTAINS GALA SUNDAY MAY 20TH AND KIT

The teams for The Club Captains Gala are now on The Notice Board.

Which team will you be in: Mike's Mantarays, Luke's Lizards, Verity's Vipers or Emily's Eels?????

You need to be at the pool on Sunday 20th May at 3pm. Please make sure you check in when you arrive and get your face paint on!!!

Spectator charge is £1 and there will be a raffle.

If you are injured or sick and have signed up for this gala you MUST let either your club captain or coach of your team know as soon as pos as races will have been allocated to you.
